What is a good book to read?

im looking for a good book to read. nothing too "teenage-ish" like twilight or anything like that. i want a book thats by a good writer who is christian, but the whole story isnt purely on christianity. Sort of like the Chronicles of narnia how it had action, but tied in christianity in a way, but only slightly. i also want the book to be sort of serious. thanks (:
