Strep w/ a temperature of 97.5?

i dont know if i have strep throat. the only symptoms i seem to have are the white patches on my swollen tonsils and an very sore throat. i had a 2hswim practice, depite my sore throat b/c i feel fine otherwise. i felt more tired than usual but not too bad. i live in southern california but the pool is outside and the wind feels quite harsh to wet skin so i was very cold. wakled a mile home, took my temperature just b/c i was curious and the thermometer was 97.1 degrees. i figured my body temperature must still be down from being so cold. i drank 3 cups of hot coffee and again, just out of curiousity took my temperature to see if it had gone up but it was only 97.5. my usual temperature ranges from 98.5- 98.9. my tonsils are only swollen on the right side as well as the white patches. my neck muscles also only hurt on the right side, but that may be from swim... id ont know. my throat hurt yesterday and white patches appeared today. this morning there was hardly any patches and my tonsils werent swollen, its only gotten worse throughout the day. honestly i feel fine aside from my throat, although i am tired even after coffee but i've been staying up later than usual b/c of school ignments and swim meets. sorry this is so long, but i just was wondering if anyone knew what is up with me b/c you usually get a fever with strep.
