Do you think that movies like 'Lady and the Tramp' and '101 Dalmatians' are encouraging backyard breeders...?

Not so sure about Lady and the Tramp, but I do know that 101 dalmations has had an impact- and other such movies- I know that when some of these breeds are represented in a movie like this, or Air Bud, or Wishbone- reputable breeders of these breeds become exra vigilant about who they sell puppies to.
