Buddhism - preaching?

Quick question. If Buddhism is the only way to Enlightenment (end of suffering), then why isn't it preached like Christianity is? Both are ways for people to be saved in each religion's prospective, but Christianity is preached, and Buddhism isn't. What I mean by preaching is "spreading the word", not necessarily a sermon. I mean like why don't Buddhist's spread their own message of the end of suffering?
